Windesheim University is one of the biggest universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. It offers study programmes in more than fifty disciplines, with the emphasis on student-focused, practical education. The School of Journalism cooperates with two separate study programs: (1) Journalism and Media and (2) Business and Communication Studies.


The Danish School of Media and Journalism (DJMX) is the oldest and largest of the higher educational institutions offering journalism education in Denmark. It offers a range of Bachelor's degrees in the field of journalism, communication, design, photography, media production and management. In collaboration with Aarhus University the Danish School offers a Master's degree in journalism + an Erasmus Mundus Master's joint degree in journalism.


The School of Journalism was formally opened by the celebrated investigative journalist John Pilger in November 2004. The character of the Lincoln journalism program is distinctive, with a focus on a range of critical subject areas such as journalism and international human rights, comparative press and media history, investigative journalism and the regulation and conduct of journalists.


The Faculty of Social Sciences is one of the largest members of the University of Ljubljana. It offers 13 undergraduate programs, and 17 graduate study programs. The School of Journalism and PR has collaboration with the Department of Communication, which is consisted of three chairs: Chair of Journalism, Chair of Media Studies and Chair of Marketing Communications and Public Relations.


The DOBA Faculty of Applied Business and Social Studies Maribor is a modern business school that offers contemporary study programmes in business, management and marketing, implemented by means of distance learning. The e-Learning strategy at DOBA Faculty is bases on innovative ICT based pedagogical approaches, new media and technologies.
Високата школа за новинарство и за односи со јавноста е членка на Глобалната алијанса за партнерства за медиумска и информациска писменост (Global Alliance for Partnership on Media and Information Literacy - GAPMIL), иницирана од УНЕСКО, Алијансата на цивизации при ОН (UNAoC), УНИЦЕФ, Фондацијата Отворено општество, ИРЕКС, Европската Комисија и други агенции при ОН кои здружено работат во остварување на следната цел: промовирање меѓународната соработка преку која ќе им се овозможи на сите граѓани ширум светот да се стекнат со неопходната медиумска и информациска писменост. Овој тип писменоост посебно е насочен кон децата и младите, кои се ставени пред предизвикот и неизбежноста да се здобијат со нови знаења и вештини врзани за употребата на медиуми, информации, нови технологии кои интензивно се развиваат во 21-виот век.


The College of Arts and Sciences includes eleven Departments, among which also the Department of Communication which offers programs in broadcasting, broadcast sales, human communication, journalism and public relations. Cutting-edge technology and facilities are a hallmark of the WCU: electronic classrooms, computer labs, a world-class digital TV studio and the region’s only local FM radio station.


The Peace Institute – Institute for Contemporary Social and Political Studies – is a non-profit research institution developing interdisciplinary research activities in various fields of the social and human sciences (sociology, anthropology, political science, philosophy, economies, law etc.). The Center for Media policy works in four thematic fields: Media Watch (monitoring, studying and reporting on media practices and media policy), Media Pluralism, Media and Minorities and Access to Public Information.


The Media Diversity Institute (MDI) works internationally to encourage and facilitate responsible media coverage of diversity. MDI implements a range of activities: conferences with editors, managers and media owners, journalism workshops, strengthening community media organisations, introducing Reporting Diversity courses into journalism schools and faculties, advocacy training for Civil Society Organisations, publishes a wide range of manuals and resource materials, conducts research and media monitoring studies etc.


The Faculty of Philosophy is the oldest higher education institution which has 12 institutes, among which also the Institute of Security, Defense and Peace Studies. This Institute offers study programs in peace and security, analysis of conflicts and conflicts resolution. In 2012, a new UNESCO Chair of Intercultural studies and research was established at this Institute.


The Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research is part of the University st Cyril and Methodius, Skopje. Its main activity is development of scientific research of different social, political, cultural and other phenomena in the society. The Center for Communication, Media and Culture conducts research of the relations between the communication and information technologies, the influence of communication on cultural phenomena, as well as the role of media in the society.
